We are a family business located in a big stone house on a small island near Montreal. We specialize in making clothing inspired by Gothic, Wiccan, Punk and Japanese Street Fashion. The site is run by our webmaster Michael, our clothes are modelled by Angela and Rosie and let's not forget our mascot, Blackjack The Evil Cat ( he really does exist).
Our designer is Jaedan. She is originally from England and trained professionally both in the UK and Montreal. She has been designing custom clothing for over 10 years and for a long time specialized in special occasion dresses. Also a certified sewing teacher, she has taught Young and Adult classes in both England and Canada. Her clothing has appeared in fashion magazines in N.America, Europe and Australia. She is a full time Wiccan and this is reflected in some of the styles she designs and the fabric she chooses to work with.
All of the items that you see here are originals and are made exclusively by Shattered Glass Designs. We are constantly adding new designs and researching new fabrics so if you have any suggestions, comments or requests we would love to hear them. After all, we are making the clothing for you so we definitely want to know what you'd like to see!

How do I know you are reputable? We traded on Ebay for many years under the ID 'Ritzyknits'. The feedback comments should show that we respect and take care of our customers. There is no way we would run off with your money - we take our business seriously and feel that everyone deserves the absolute best from us. After all, we would like you to come back often!
How do I know the clothes will fit? We are all professionally trained and have been working in the garment industry for over 10 years. Our ready to wear items are designed using standard industry sizing. For custom orders you can rest assured we will do our utmost to make sure the garments fit. First of all, find your size on our size chart. To be doubly sure, you can send us your actual bust, waist and hip measurements when you place your order. We make our clothing based on a standard height of 5'6" so if you are taller or are a petite size (i.e. 5'2" or under) we will need to know so that we can make the necessary adjustments.
Where do you get your fabrics? Everywhere! Since've been making custom clothing for so long we have access to some of the finest textile sources available in both North America and Europe. Our suppliers specialize in high quality special occasion fabrics and knits.
Can I substitute another fabric for one of your designs? We'll mix and match our fabrics between designs as much as we can. However, not all fabrics are suitable for all designs. Email us first and let us know what you'd like to do. We'll see if it's possible and give you some additional options.
Who or what is the evil cat? His name is Blackjack and he was abandoned in a garbage bag as a kitten. He's now a 7 year old black cat who sometimes just sits and stares at us as if he's plotting something. He's able to disappear and pop out of what seems like nowhere, attacking people at random times of the day. We keep him tame with food and love, but his temper sometimes stops him from giving a damn. He has become lord of our manor and is now our mascot. He is absolutely NOT allowed in our sewing studio so anyone who has allergies needn't worry.
How long will it take to make a custom order? Most of our garments are ready for shipping about 10 days after we receive your measurements. Some items take longer than others, but if there is a problem, such as a backorder on a certain fabric, we'll let you know right away. We will always notify you as soon as your order is shipped and provide you with the tracking number.
Do you ever have ready to wear items? Yes we do. Our sources often offer us a fabric that's in limited supply. Then we'll design some goodies that will be ready to wear. Of course you can still request a custom size from these designs while we have the fabric.
How long will it take for a ready to wear item to reach me? We ship all RTW items within 24 hours of receiving your cleared payment. Xpresspost takes 2-5 business days to reach you if you live in Canada or the USA. Overseas please allow 7-10 days, customs can be unpredictable and we have no control over them.
Warranty & Return Policy
The warranty is 21 days from the day your item(s) has been shipped and covers the item(s) in its entirety.
Our sizes will always be 100% accurate to our size chart or - in the case of a custom made item - to the measurements we have received from you and we will carefully check all measurements before your garment is shipped. If an item does not fit, please contact us within the warranty period. We will arrange to have it sent back and replaced, but the buyer will be responsible for return shipping charges.
Please inspect your package carefully when it arrives and notify us immediately if there is any damage. This will ensure the shipping company will take responsibility for any mishaps during transit. If this is not done we cannot be held responsible for delays in resolving the matter.
